Atal Bihari Vajpayee College of Physiotherapy, located at Devgad Phata, Chh. Sambhajinagar – Ahilyanagar Highway, Behind Hotel Deepjyot, Tal. Newasa, Dist. Ahilyanagar. Our college is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. Admissions are carried out through the State CET Cell, and our College Code is 06411.

At present, the college offers the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program, equipping students to become competent healthcare professionals ready to serve in hospitals, clinics, sports institutions, and rehabilitation centers.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a professional undergraduate program designed to train students in the science and practice of physiotherapy. The course focuses on understanding human anatomy, physiology, movement science, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercises. Students are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical disorders, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.

बी.पी.टी. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) हा एक व्यावसायिक पदवी अभ्यासक्रम आहे ज्यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना मानव शरीररचना, शरीरक्रिया, हालचाल विज्ञान, पुनर्वसन व उपचारात्मक व्यायाम यांचे सखोल ज्ञान दिले जाते. या अभ्यासक्रमाद्वारे विद्यार्थी रुग्णांचे मूल्यमापन, निदान व उपचार करण्यासाठी आवश्यक सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान व प्रत्यक्ष क्लिनिकल कौशल्ये आत्मसात करतात.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy Details

  • Duration: 4½ years (4 years academic studies + 6 months internship).
  • Eligibility: 10+2 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission through NEET/CET as per State CET Cell rules.

After completing BPT, students can:

  • Work as Physiotherapists in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, sports teams, fitness and wellness centers, and NGOs.

  • Pursue higher education (MPT, Ph.D.) in specialized fields like Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, Cardiorespiratory, Sports Physiotherapy, etc.

  • अवधी: ४ ½ वर्षे (४ वर्षे शैक्षणिक अभ्यास + ६ महिने अनिवार्य इंटर्नशिप).
  • पात्रता: १२वी विज्ञान (भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र व जीवशास्त्र विषय आवश्यक). प्रवेश प्रक्रिया NEET/CET व State CET Cell च्या नियमांनुसार.

करिअर संधी

बी.पी.टी. पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर विद्यार्थी:

  • हॉस्पिटल, क्लिनिक, पुनर्वसन केंद्र, खेळ संघ, फिटनेस व वेलनेस सेंटर किंवा स्वयंसेवी संस्थांमध्ये फिजिओथेरपिस्ट म्हणून कार्य करू शकतात.
  • स्वतःची खाजगी फिजिओथेरपी क्लिनिक सुरू करू शकतात.
  • उच्च शिक्षणासाठी एम.पी.टी., पीएच.डी. सारख्या अभ्यासक्रमांमध्ये प्रवेश घेऊ शकतात (ऑर्थोपेडिक्स, न्यूरोलॉजी, पेडियाट्रिक, कार्डिओ-रेस्पिरेटरी, स्पोर्ट्स फिजिओथेरपी इत्यादी).
  • शैक्षणिक, संशोधन व हेल्थकेअर व्यवस्थापन क्षेत्रात करिअर घडवू शकतात.

At the time of admission, students must submit:

  • 2 passport size photographs
  • NEET Admit Card & Marksheet
  • CET Cell Provisional Selection Letter & Online Application Form (www.mahacet.org )
  • S.S.C. (10th) & H.S.C. (12th) mark sheets and passing certificates
  • College Leaving Certificate / Transfer / Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Gap Certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile/Nationality Certificate
  • Medical Fitness Certificate (as per NEET brochure format)
  • Aadhaar Card copy
  • Caste Certificate, Validity, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
